I really like my book so far , i'm slowly falling in love with it ,i like how the book is set up ,how it explains everything . while reading sometimes it will have a number after a word  (ex. misty 18) and a writing in small text will be at the bottom of that page, if you read the writing it kinda gives you some background knowledge or information for what its talking about. Its also funny, but it does have some deep moments. From what i have read in the book so far he has a neighbor named Walt who is 60, likes to smoke cigarettes, and loves Bogart movies, Leonard Peacock is the name of the main character in my book and he skips school a lot to hang out with Walt, Leonards mom, Linda, isn't ever really there for him, she mostly just cares about her french boyfriend and her job as a fashion designer, she claims she loves her work, but complains about it ever second she gets, his father left when he was little, he was a famous singer who made 1 miracle song and then his career went downhill and he picked up a drug addiction to go along with his alcohol addiction. He meets a christian girl on the subway handing out jesus pamphlets, her name is Lauren, he soon falls in love with her, but she wont date him because he is an atheist and she loves god, he kisses her at the subway station and regrets it immediately after doing so, and the last character, Asher Beal, his old best friend, they went to their first green day concert together and loved hanging out with each other, but asher use to hang out with his uncle every Thursday and they would go fishing, but one Thursday evening leonard and asher were working on a school project, they had been working on it for weeks and asher smashed the project to pieces and when leonard tried to calm asher dow , he punched leonard in the eye, after 4 or 5 days asher apologized to leonard and instead of leonard taking up for himself, he told asher it was ok, he proceeded to tell leonard what was wrong, but said never mind
and left, after that he started bulling leonard, shoving him against lockers, making up rumors about him, and then started picking on other kids, " i think it was his punishment to me for not getting him help or trying to save him, i think asher really wanted me to save him " leonard says in the book. I believe that in leonards mind, his planning to shoot Asher and then himself is his way of trying to save him.

  2. Your blog made me very interested in your book. I do agree with Mrs. Stansbury that you need to look out for your punctuation. You also need to look out for some of your capitalization. Ex ( i like how the book is set up...) In addition you summarized your book instead of telling about how it related to you. You can summarize the book as long as you explain how the book related to you. Another thing I would like to point out is next time try adding paragraphs so that the reader will understand when you are making a new point. Overall I loved your blog. Like I said this blog made me very interested in reading the book.

  3. I agree with Alma and Mrs. Stansbury. I really like the way you set your blog up and the way you worded it. You provided really good information about your book. Just you need to watch your punctuation. Also like Alma said you summarized your book instead of stating how it relates to you and your life or even events that have happened. Other than that I really like how you described what happened in your book. I also liked how you explained why you liked your book. You did really good.

  4. Danielle, Nice comment. Watch out for commas on dependent clauses. Tell her why she did really well. What specifically did you enjoy? Refer back to something she wrote. Be precise.
